Indian Academic Championship (INDAC)

Indian Academic Championship (INDAC) is the India contest and entry mechanism for and to the prestigious International Academic Competitions conducted at the Asia, USA, and World levels. This contest is organized for school students of any nationality living and studying in India, and offers them a chance to participate in an exciting and intensive knowledge contest which has been conducted globally since 2010.

International Academic Competitions (IAC)

International Acadermic Competitions is an organization dedicated to giving students around the world the chance to compete in engaging, challenging, and exciting tournaments that are focused on history, geography, science, and other academic disciplines. IAC was founded by 19-day Jeopardy champion David Madden in 2010. Madden’s vision was to ultimately give students an opportunity to compete on a global level, and since 2010, IAC programs have expanded from being a single tournament for students in the New York metro area to reaching students in over 50 countries in a typical school year.
Over 50,000 students have taken their ORQE already.

What does IAC do?

IAC offers students in grades K-12 regional, national, and international competitions through contests such as the International History Bee & Bowl, International Geography Bee, International Science Bee, and many others. IAC operates in over a dozen countries in Asia including Japan, China, the UAE, and, since 2024, India.

What is IAC’s mission?

IAC believes that academic competitions can enrich the lives of children by giving them the incentive to study hard and foster a lifelong love of learning, while at the same time introducing them to like-minded peers across India, throughout Asia, and around the world. IAC sees its mission as introducing as many students as possible to the joy and fulfilment of academic competition, and encouraging students to develop their intellectual, social, and moral capacities through participation in our programs.

IAC is now in India!

School students of any nationality studying in India can, from 2024 onwards, qualify and prepare for IAC’s tournaments for individual students and school teams. IAC’s contest for students in India is called INDAC and is conducted by Xpress Minds Edutainment.

What people say about Xpress Minds Edutainment

(The Science Quiz conducted by XM) ... provided a platform to source the students' knowledge and creativity while interacting with some of the brightest minds across the country. It was well organised and the challenges tested not only (the students') scientific acumen, but also teamwork and problem-solving skills.

The questions (created by the Xpress Minds team) were challenging and diverse, covering various aspects of general science in everyday life. The quiz was so engrossing that the students were fully engaged. The rapid fire round was the most thrilling to participate in.

The quiz (put together by Xpress Minds Edutainment) was a transforming experience for our students, they were exposed to thought-provoking questions that deepened their understanding of diverse scientific concepts and their real world applications.

We appreciate (Xpress Minds) encouraging quizzing among school students. The rounds conducted and the questions asked (in all their quizzes) were truly thought provoking and very informative.

A well received competition, with participants from various parts of North East India. Their quizzes (have always) started on time and quizmaster (Kunal Savarkar) was versatile.

… the questions were challenging, yet engaging, and the format of the competition was both exciting and educational.
